Nail Art Studio: Cornucopia

Yolanda Hernandez demonstrates Cornucopia.

Yolanda Hernandez demonstrates Cornucopia.

1. Mix clear, gold, and silver glitter with clear acrylic and apply to the nail.

2. Shape the cornucopia using beige acrylic. While still wet, use a quilting pen to create a basket weave on the cornucopia, and a fine-point tool to create texture on its rim. Add color detail to the rim with red-brown acrylic paint. Go over the cornucopia lightly with gold acrylic paint to add a light shimmer.

3. Using clear acrylic to secure, place a Fimo pumpkin and fruit in the cornucopia. Use purple acrylic to create grapes and berries. Finish with a clear top coat on the nail outside the cornucopia only.
