UV top coat

A UV top coat goes over either polish or cured acrylic and dries with the aid of a UV light. While not a gel, a UV top coat does have some of the same chemical properties as gels, which is why it's important that the coating is completely cured. Many technicians find that the durability and shine offered by a UV top coat allows them to charge more for using it than using a standard air-dry top coat. The UV top coat in the photo is from Entity Beauty.
