Moving into 2021, a symbol of protection is being spotted everywhere, including being incorporated into nail art. 

The "evil eye" talisman is meant to ward off a curse. These staring eyes, often formed in the shape of concentric blue and white circles,  are supposed to "bend the malicious gaze back to the sorcerer."
