The holidays are here, and some Americans are already decking their halls. Lombardo Homes released its 3rd Annual Christmas Decor Report, examining popular decorations, which states decorate the most, and what Americans are spending.
The Findings
- The average spend on decor: $140, nearly two times what was spent in 2022 — but two-thirds think they’re spending the same (thanks, inflation!).
- 14% are already decorating for Christmas right now, but nearly one-in-two begin the week after Thanksgiving.
- Top decorations in the nation: Christmas Trees, Christmas Lights, and Mistletoe.
Which states embrace the spirit of the season the most? According to an analysis of Google search terms, Vermont decorates the most in the U.S., followed by Wyoming and Delaware.
