The Glamour Me Booth at Cosmoprof 2017 in Las Vegas gave attendees a chance to “glamour-ize” their look at one of the beauty booths. The booths featured licensed professionals who specialized in either nails, makeup, blowouts or braiding. The nail portion was sponsored by LVX, the 7-toxic-free and vegan nail lacquer brand.

I wanted to check out the nail booth of course, so I made an appointment in the morning for a few hours later in the afternoon as the schedule was already booked up. Although I had recently got my nails done, I wanted to explore what Cosmoprof had to offer during this fun, express service.

After paying the $20 suggested donation fee (which is used to support the PBA Foundation), I sat down with Las Vegas-based nail technician Brinna Binessi (@mymaneb). I chose this feminine and trendy rose gold polish, set to launch in the fall.

Since I had been busy all day hunting for new products in the Discover sections of the show floor, it was nice to sit back and chat with Brinna, who said she had been servicing clients nonstop.

After my manicure, we were able to meet with a professional photographer, who took high quality photos of our look. I got a short-lived glimpse into my non-existant hand modeling career, and loved having the chance to model the polish color! The photographer also happily took a very professional headshot of me for purposes that were both fun and business-related.

If you are going to Cosmoprof next year and want to get a Glamour Me service, book an appointment at the beginning of the day as everything got pretty booked up. The Glamour Me booth was ideal for a bit of quick pampering for a good cause of the PBA Foundation, an organization that "supports charitable initiatives and the historical preservation of the beauty industry."

My nails were perfectly polished for the rest of the show.

Attendees could also opt for blowouts or braids on their hair, as well as a full face of makeup.
