Solara is well-lit and cool thanks to the nearby Seal Beach, Calif., sunshine and breezes.
The salon makes its own scrubs for services and displays them in a rainbow-like gradient against the black and white decor.
Solara offers 17 signature pedicure services that come with themed ingredients. I chose the Lungo Mi Espresso (not pictured).
The pedicure seating is spacious and plush, complete with gold sequin pillows.
