In the hit trilogy of books-turned-blockbuster-film The Hunger Games, protagonist Katniss Everdeen’s nails were described vividly. “The team works on me until late afternoon, turning my skin to glowing satin, stenciling patterns on my arms, painting flame designs on my twenty perfect nails,” she says. While we at NAILS were disappointed to see that these flame nails were not rendered in the film (although we were impressed by Effie Trinket’s changing nail designs!), we knew we could count on our readers to create incredible nail art inspired by the books and film. Here are a few The Hunger Games-inspired designs that you’ve painted on your client’s nails. (If you want your photo added to this gallery, e-mail it to sree.roy[at]bobit.com, along with your name, salon name, and city/state.)
