Our Favorite Moments From Foot Forward Summit 2018

by Beth Livesay | July 3, 2019

1. Seeing What People Wore

Miss Tee wore her now famous foot costume. Nellie always looks fab!

2. Joining forces

Watching the collaborations between speakers on and off-stage reinforced the sense of community everyone felt. Pictured here is the Footnanny herself and keynote speaker Dr. Bruce Pichler.

3. The Selfies

It's better than "footsies," right?

4. Nail On!

Holly and BFF Mel debuted their Nail On logo at Foot Forward Summit and did a Facebook Live from the event.

5. Dr. Pichler

Keynote speaker Dr. Bruce Pichler, a local podiatrist, brought down the house with his opening presentation covering anatomy and what nail techs can do for client health.

6. NAILS' Katherine Fleming As the ultimate foot model

Senior editor Katherine Fleming showed off her modeling skills for two demos: a toe brace and compression socks, and did it all with a sense of humor.

7. Foot Care Experience

Attendees got to exeprience sponsor products and ask questions of industry experts.

8. Advanced Education

Attendees didn't stop learning once the first session was over. They stayed for a second day of education and filled the classes. This year's advanced education lineup can be found here.

9. Networking

The networking event the first night was a huge favorite! I love watching old nail friends come together and forge new friendships.
