Nail tech Kelsey McQuay, who is an educator for Swarovski and Akzéntz, recently had her work distributed across 34 Swarovski store locations in the US and Canada to kick off the holiday season. McQuay created four nail designs for demo boards displayed in the store. She was given a selection of seasonal colors to use (dusty pink, navy, nude, and berry) and asked to create whatever inspires her. “I knew the company had launched a celestial collection and wanted to incorporate that in two designs using the navy and berry color,” McQuay explains. “We also have a minimalist collection and an audience who prefer a simpler and more sophisticated look, so I wanted to create two designs they might be interested to try, using the nude and dusty pink.”

The nail art was offered as an exclusive reward to members of the company's Be Swarovski loyalty rewards program. Those who spent $200 in the store received a free sparkly manicure and pair of mood earrings.

Sparkling express manicures were also recently offered in Swarovski stores as part of a collaboration between Swarovski and CND. To celebrate CND’s 40th anniversary, customers enjoyed their choice of a CND Vinylux long-wear polish manicure or CND Shellac gel-polish manicure with the CND/Swarovski Crystal Alchemy collection.
