Wet Look Introduces New ‘Special Effects’ Colors

Nutress Laboratories, creators of wet look acrylic nail glaze, will unveil two new additions to its “Special Effects Pure Silver Highlighter,” at the Long Beach Hairdressers Guild show Jan. 29-31, 1983.

“In addition to our Pure Silver Special Effects Highlighter, which has been on the market since August, 1982, we have added two new colors that are so dazzling as to defy description,” said Mike Rubell, president of Nutress Labs.

The colors are silver Garnet and Silver Plum, “and must be seen to be believed,” said Rubell.

All three “Special Effects” products are made with pure silver and by a special process exclusive to Nutress.

“Preliminary testing in salons of the client reaction to application of the new colors has already created demand for them,” said Rubell.

“Special Effects Highlighters” will be features in booth 96, 97 of the Long Beach show and will be offered in a beautiful six-piece display suitable for salon retail.

The display carries two one-half ounce bottles of each color and two of the original “Special Effects Highlighter,”
