Polish Enhances Home Decor

Jeanne Wolf, one of the hosts of The Gossip Show on the E! Entertainment network, loves her nail lacquer so much that she decided to put it on more than just her nails.

While remodeling her home, Wolf chose Kyoto Pearl, a color in OPI’s Classic Collection, to adorn her entryway and an entire living room wall. “I was talking with my architect and we were stumped as to what to do with the front entryway,” says Wolf, “and then in came to me.”

Her inspiration caused her to pull out a sample of the color and paint a plank of wood with a tiny nail brush right then and there. It looked so lovely that they were both convinced, she says, and work began immediately. The job took a total of six gallons of the OPI polish, which was watered down and sprayed onto the walls. Kyoto Pearl, an opalescent Platinum, endowed the entire living room with a more sophisticated feel, and allowed the grain of the wood to come through.
