Nail Art Studio: Mardi Gras Feather

Jane Weiner Moate demos how to do Mardi Gras Feather.

Jane Weiner Moate demos how to do Mardi Gras Feather.

1. Start with a dark purple nail. With black polish, paint a slightly jagged thick diagonal block at the base of the nail.

2. Using a thin striper and a holographic green polish, paint thin lines over the black portion of the nail. Feather the lines at the ends so they gradually fade.

3. Starting at the end of the green lines on the far right, repeat the thin feathery lines with holographic purple polish.

4. Fill in the rest of the black space with more thin feathery lines using a gold or bronze holographic polish. Finish with a clear top coat
