Vanessa Treviño turns nail design into a sunset on an island.

1. On a flat surface or palette, apply small dots of light blue, pink, yellow, and dark blue acrylic paint. Dip a fan nail art brush into the paint, then drag it across the whole nail. Repeat two times.

2. Use a black striper to add a line, starting at the middle of the nail and pulling to the corner. Make the bottom thicker. Draw triangles resembling an island.

3. Use a black striper to draw five lines emanating out of the center of the first line.

4. Use a black striper to draw smaller lines out of each of the five lines. Pull lightly and quickly to create the look of palms.

5. Add silver glitter to accent the water.
