NYFW SS20: Essie for Kith

Essie kicked off NYFW SS20 by creating three nail looks for the Kith show on September 5. The first look (above) was inspired by Mad Max and the Sahara desert. Betina Goldstein used a sand-colored polish and made a dune-shaped design.

How to:

1. Apply Here to Stay base coat.

2. Outline the moon and sides of the nail with a detail brush dipped in Cliff Hanger.

3. Use the polish brush to fill in the nail from the moon down with Cliff Hanger.

4. Set Cliff Hanger with Matte About You top coat, leaving the moon glossy.

5. Apply cuticle oil.

NYFW SS20: Essie for Kith

Goldstein created a double corner French using two cult favorite Essie shades. 

How to:

1. Apply Here to Stay base coat.

2. Add one coat of Mademoiselle.

3. Use a detail brush dipped in Blanc to create a tapered line along the top and bottom corners of each nail.

4. Set nails with Matte About You.

5. Apply cuticle oil.

NYFW SS20: Essie for Kith

Playing off the sporty Cordova ski suits in Kith's show, Goldstein created a simple, futuristic design with an icicle stripe down the center of the nail. 

How to:

1. Apply Here to Stay base coat.

2. Add one coat of Mademoiselle.

3. Set with Matte About You top coat.

4. Dip a detail brush in No Place Like Chrome and draw a line down the center of the nail.

5. Apply cuticle oil.
