When starting a pedicure, do you soak the client’s feet in disinfectant for at least five minutes or just soapy water?
Never soak your clients’ feet in disinfectant. Disinfectants are not safe for use on living skin. They are far too harsh and can cause injury, skin irritation, and allergies. Warm soapy water will be more than enough to properly clean the client’s feet. Washing (sanitizing) is the most important thing you can do to protect clients from infection. — Doug Schoon
